Livingstone Advises on Sale of Midwest-based Janitorial and Window Cleaning Services Provider

At the request of both our client (code name “SCHOON”) and the buyer, the identities of the parties involved in this transaction remain confidential.

Livingstone is pleased to announce the sale of its client, SCHOON, a leading Midwest-based provider of janitorial and window cleaning services, to an undisclosed strategic buyer. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded decades ago, SCHOON developed a strong reputation for delivering consistent, high-quality cleaning services to commercial facility owners and operators. SCHOON serves a broad client property base, including office, healthcare, education, industrial, and other commercial facilities. With an unwavering focus on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, SCHOON grew into one of the most respected independent facility services providers in its region prior to the combination.

“Leveraging their experience and broad network within the facility services sector, the Livingstone team delivered an outstanding result for all parties involved,” said an owner of SCHOON. “We are confident that the business is well-positioned to continue its success and growth trajectory with its new partner.”

An executive from the undisclosed buyer said, “Andrew Bozzelli, Robert Tymowski, and the entire Livingstone team demonstrated exceptional ability to collaborate effectively with our team, resolving any issues promptly and ensuring an efficient and seamless transaction process. Their professionalism and dedication were key factors in the success of this acquisition.”

“We are excited about the future partnership between the two parties, as our client represents a significant growth region for the buyer,” said Andrew Bozzelli, Partner at Livingstone.

Robert Tymowski, Managing Director of Livingstone, commented, “We continue to build momentum for our essential services practice, and expect continued activity considering the current economic climate.”

This deal represents another successful transaction for Livingstone in the facilities services space, following the sales of Kimco to KBS and Commercial Cleaning Systems to Silver Oak Services Partners.
