Livingstone acted as exclusive financial advisor to Reggiani Lighting S.r.l. (“Reggiani Illuminazione”), a leading manufacturer and global brand in high-end LED lighting components, in connection with its integration into Nemo S.r.l. (“Nemo Lighting”).
Founded in 1957 and renowned for its technical excellence and design innovation, Reggiani Illuminazione has long been a trusted partner to architects and designers worldwide. The company develops and produces premium LED lighting components and systems for retail and commercial applications, distributing its products globally through an extensive network of sales offices and distributors.
Nemo Lighting, established in 1993 and headquartered in Milan, is a rapidly growing player in the decorative and architectural lighting industry. Through its subsidiary Ilti Luce, it operates two industrial plants, a commercial branch in the United States, and maintains a broad international distribution network.
This transaction enables Nemo Lighting and Reggiani Illuminazione to join forces, creating a new global leader offering a complete range of decorative and technical lighting solutions. The combined group will benefit from a robust commercial presence in Italy, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, China, and the Middle East, with a distribution footprint spanning over 80 countries.
“The combination of Reggiani’s technical legacy and Nemo’s dynamic management and sales capabilities creates a uniquely strong platform for international expansion.” said Luca Maccagnani Castelli, Managing Partner at Livingstone. “We are proud to have supported this strategic and creative partnership.”
Matteo Reggiani, CEO of Reggiani Illuminazione, commented: “From a commercial perspective, the two companies will continue to operate as separate entities, maintaining their respective partnerships. The resulting cooperation and synergies at the production level will strengthen our global competitive positioning, enabling us to respond to the increasingly broad and sophisticated market demands, with a well-structured commercial presence”.
This deal reinforces Livingstone’s expertise in premium branded consumer goods and design-led manufacturing, underlining its ability to create value through complex combinations and strategic partnerships.
