Dave Misch joined Livingstone in 2019 as Partner and Head of Sponsor Coverage in the US to continue developing and institutionalizing the firm’s deep relationships with leading financial sponsors. A seasoned veteran, Dave has over 25 years of investment banking experience, of which 19 years have been exclusively spent covering mid-market financial sponsors.
Prior to Livingstone, Dave served as Managing Director at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, where he was a dedicated member of the Structured Equity investment team and focused on originations and due diligence activities.
Before joining Levine Leichtman, Dave was a Managing Director and Head of the Middle Market Financial Sponsors group for the West Coast for Wells Fargo Securities. His primary responsibilities included providing investment banking, valuation, and financial opinion services to private equity firms.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo Securities in 2014, Dave spent nearly 18 years in various leadership roles at Houlihan Lokey, with the last ten years serving as Managing Director and Head of West Coast coverage in the Financial Sponsors Coverage Group. Dave’s experience included domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, debt and mezzanine financings, financial restructurings, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, ESOP valuations, and litigation.
Earlier in his career, Dave was an Assistant Vice President in the Corporate Finance and Insurance and Financial Services Group of Sanwa Bank California, where he underwrote, syndicated, and managed senior debt financing for privately and publicly traded companies.
Dave sits on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, a youth empowerment organization whose mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
Dave lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife, daughter, and dog.
