Juan Romero joined Livingstone in 2018 and became a Partner at the firm in Spain in 2023.
He began his career in M&A in 2010 and has since been involved in more than 40 transactions across various sectors including industrial, healthcare, consumer, and energy. Over the years, Juan has also advised on restructuring and financing processes for a wide range of clients. His track record includes transactions with global corporations, listed groups, family-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and both domestic and international private equity funds.
Juan began his professional career at KPMG, later working at EY in both Madrid and Milan. He then joined the listed group Repsol, where he was part of the internal M&A team, co-leading both acquisitions and divestments. In 2018, he joined Livingstone’s team in Spain.
He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Valencia, with additional studies at Høgskolen i Oslo (now Oslo Metropolitan University) and Xavier University in Cincinnati. Alongside his professional activity, Juan has also lectured at various business schools.
