After completing his doctorate at the University of Münster, Dr. Roland Schulz began his professional career in Financial Advisory Services at BDO in Munich. He then moved to Investment Banking at Berenberg Bank in Frankfurt, where, as Vice President, he primarily advised financial investors on M&A transactions and companies on public takeovers.
Before joining Livingstone in Düsseldorf in 2021, Dr. Roland Schulz was Executive Director M&A at Hamburg Commercial Bank in Hamburg, where he advised on succession situations, carve-outs, capital raises, and asset sales, among other things. His consulting expertise also included the implementation of inorganic growth strategies.
Dr. Roland Schulz is a CFA charterholder and Certified Valuation Analyst with particular expertise in the industrial, business services, energy, and venture capital sectors.
