Helmut Laner joined Livingstone in March 2025 as a Managing Director, Global Head of Origination, Industrial Technology, to help expand Livingstone’s Industrial Technology practice. Mr. Laner brings over 17 years of experience originating and executing Industrial Technology transactions in various sub-sectors, including Test & Measurement, Flow Control, Automation, Internet of Things (IoT), Power Transmission, and Laboratory Equipment, among others.
At Livingstone, Helmut will focus on global trends of test & measurement, industrial automation, and Industry 4.0.
Mr. Laner joins Livingstone from EC M&A, where he developed intimate client relationships, originated new business opportunities, and executed transactions with strategic and financial buyers from Benelux, Germany, Italy, the Nordics, the UK, and the US as well as other countries. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Innsbruck and his MPA in Finance from Cornell University.
