Livingstone has advised Imtech N.V., a Dutch group listed on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Amsterdam, on the acquisition of Metubsa, a Spanish company specialized in industrial maintenance services. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Imtech is a leading European group providing technical services in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and telecommunications. The group employs some 18,000 people and has annual sales of 3 billion euros.
With this acquisition, Imtech will benefit from a per-share increase while providing a solid basis for strengthening its position in the Spanish market for the provision of industrial technical services. Metubsa’s management team will remain with Imtech.
