Livingstone acted as exclusive financial advisor to the Olivieri family, shareholders of Eurocart S.r.l. (“Euro-cart”), a specialist in non-hazardous industrial waste management, in connection with the company’s sale to Hamburger Recycling, a division of the Austria-based Prinzhorn Group. The Group is active across Europe in the recycling, paper, and packaging sectors.
Headquartered in Cornedo Vicentino (Vicenza), Euro-cart focuses on the collection and disposal of non-hazardous industrial waste, primarily paper, cardboard, and plastic packaging. The company employs 130 people and operates three facilities in the Vicenza area – including the Berica Recuperi plant – with a total authorized capacity exceeding 230,000 tons per year and annual revenues of over € 40 million.
Hamburger Recycling is part of Prinzhorn Group, a vertically integrated industrial player engaged in the collection and trading of secondary raw materials. With over 10,000 employees in 16 countries and revenues of € 2.9 billion in 2022, the Group is a European leader in the packaging, paper, and recycling sectors.
The transaction is a key step in Prinzhorn Group’s international growth strategy. It enables the Group to establish a direct presence in the Italian market while accelerating Euro-cart’s development plan.
